Towards the end of the 13th century the traders Niccolo and Matteo Polo
started their second voyage eastwards.With them is Marco - son of Niccolo Polo.
Kubilai Khan a powerful sovereign has ordered them to start this voyage
to get a wider knowledge of the Christendom. The three members of
the Polo family travel across the world, over land, at sea, through deserts
and mountains, on camels and even on elephants.
In a nutshell: they experience the most exciting routes of their time.
It takes nearly 25 years until Marco Polo sees Venice again.
His wonderous accounts will be found amongst the best-known
adventures of world history.
In Marco Polo you play one of the many characters who worked with
and around Marco Polo. You start in Venice and plan your routes
for the game. It is important to make the right decisions!
Which route will be the most successful one? Travel to Beijing first?
Or take the expensive seaway via Sumatra?
